promises

it was not a promise, but it was something i looked forward to.  my friend told me that the destination should be achieved in june for the succeeding months would mean storms and huge amount of water. i was really looking forward to going to that place with my friend.
and then, i texted my friend this:

"pa end na ang june. maulan at bagyo na, hindi na ma-a-achieve ang cagbalete?"

and my friend's reply:

"oo nga... "

 and the response really saddened me... i should not have let gone of opportunities to go to the beach early this month, had i known something like this would happen.

oh broken promises still hurt me like the way it used to hurt me when i was a kid.
